This weekend my Aunt Margie told me I haven’t been doing real well at keeping this site updated. That’s a sure way to get yourself as POTD.

AKA the Bud Light “Drinkability” girl. That commercial is ubiquitous during NFL games and it has carved a sweet spot in my heart for this young Irish lass. Apparently, she is also a model/actress, but we (Tyler and I) prefer her as the jersey wearing sassy vixen of tailgaiting. Erik disagree and thinks she’s goofy. To each their own.

For our anniversery the mlw got me a bottle of Pappy Van Winkle’s 23-year-old bourbon, which is the greatest gift in the history of husbands and wives. It’s so good that it has replaced my hobby of taking Facebook portraits. Unless you want a really crooked, blurry portrait.

On a side note, I think I would like to be a product photographer.

My new hobby is taking portraits specifically for Facebook. The difference between a Facebook portrait and a real one is that for that site, the shot should look like it was just a candid photo. However, it should be a really flattering, funny, candid photo in a cool place.

If you want a portrait, hit me up soon. My hobbies tend not to last that long.

Today’s pic shows Dan and Kelly getting ready for a charity walk for cancer research, in honor of our father. The duo raised over $2K, but more importantly have really inspired to the family. Good job!

The MLW and I joyfully celebrated our 1st anniversery this weekend with roses, 23-year-old bourbon, dinner at our favorite restaurant, and lots of relaxing. My nephew made the pictured card in honor of the paper anniversery.

I can only assume that he is going as a fireman for halloween. Either that or he just got off work. From his job as a fireman.

I’m unusually proud to say I don’t know who or what Gossip Girl is, other than that she’s on TV. Today, she’s also in Brooklyn Heights. I did not stay home to get a glimpse, but I hope it was like this:
