Goodbye, Sweet Amy

We said good bye to Amy Flynn last night because she’s decided to go to grad school in Boston. Now that she’s leaving I decide to pick her up, which is something she would have broken my nose for while she was still at my company. Farewell, Ms. Flynn! See you in Beantown.

Happy Graduation Lindsey

This is a shout out to my neighbor who just graduated from Altoona High. From left, Devon, Lindsey, Chelsey and Meredith. Congrats Lindsey! Editors note: I found out from my mom that Lindsey and Devon both just graduated, Meredith is still in high school and Chelsey is at PSU (Go State!). To all the girls, I recommend NYC.

I left the camera at work so today is another shot from the archive. This is an old photo of when I met the president.

Last night, with the help of Erik and Kate, I was able to hang my book shelves and put up the books, adding more precious space to the apartment. I think we are close to being ready for a couch. To celebrate, Erik, Kate, Lauren, and I had a pint in the rec room (formerly known as the Edge). After dealing a bit of sage advice to us, Erik commented, “I am like Confucious…except with a beer and a cigarette,” gesturing with those items.

A big shout to Colleen and Lauren

Here’s a big shout to Colleen and Lauren who emptied all my “kitchen” boxes, washed every dish, and then put them away. We regained another 10 or 15 square feet of floor space. Ladies, you rock.

Great night last night seeing the Coastal Drag at Niagra. Bad morning seeing the Germans beat USA. I didn’t have my camera to document any of it. I am very, very sleepy.

Packing Sucks

Moving is about the biggest pain in the ass in the entire world. You keep filling boxes, but there is an endless supply of shit. I through away 3 massive garbage bags of crap and I still have more stuff than I can deal with. Jerry got to spend two exciting days in New York packing. Poor guy. I did buy him a “Pound of Fajita” which is the one thing I’m going to miss from the Upper East Side.
