Last night I enjoyed a club soda with Vivian, Alex, and Tammie at Scratcher. That pub disallows smoking but a few yards down the street sits the Fish Bar. After the smoking law passed, the Fish Bar’s co-owners fired all their bartenders and agreed to work all the shifts themselves. By having no employees, they are complying with a loophole in the anti-cigarette law that grants them the permission to allow smoking—an important tip for you addicts out there. The Fish Bar also had quiz night on Mondays and free cheese and crackers on Fridays after work.
