The mlw and I had the good fortune to dog sit Elliott, aka The Wookie, Ben and Holly's fuzzy Norwegian Elk Hound. Some dogs are territorial and will growl when a stranger enters the apartment. Others will nuzzle and lick the burglar hoping to.get an ear scratch while he rifles through your drawers. Elliott is of the latter variety.
He approached the walk like walks were his FAVORITE, but he hadn't thought of them in ages! Pure elation and sniffing, each sidewalk stain containing more of life's answers than the previous. It was a lot of fun.
