I could write “beautiful body” fifty times and still give a decent caricature of the film. The next in the series of Marvel blockbuster films spends a much time highlighting Jennifer Garner’s hard, yet feminine physique. Her face is prettiest when frowning and she plays a convincing dark killer for the first half of the film. The second half suffers from an effort to make every ten-year-old girl in America want to take karate and Garner’s beauty becomes a Barbie doll-esque toy. The villains lack panache and the PG rating drains the impact from the finale. Watch it on HBO.

Site of the Day: I’m buying this CD for my nephew. Listen to “Ever Fallen In Love.” Very catchy version.
