So after I get home from vacation last week, my camera stopped working. I took it to a licensed Pentax repair center on East 13th Street. That shop is one of those places entirely unique to New York. A plain store front hides a small business that consists of one counter and twelve men at desks repairing cameras. The whole place looks like it was started in 1912 to repair Eastman Instamatics an that the fellas have been at the desks ever since. Unfortunately, they cannot repair my camera and it must be sent to the factory. The cost is so much that it may make more sense to but a new camera, especially since I lust after new cameras. Anyone want to join me at B&H tomorrow?

I spent last night at The B-Side, a bar on Avenue B. A whole host of kids were there, including Josh, Tricia, Tyler, Judy, Chris, Tim, Dina, Melissa, and some others. A very good time.
