Last night I tried to meet some friends at Von, but they were in the back roomnand I was at the bar, so we missed each other. I drank Brooklyn Lager and had a nice chat with the bartender before I snuck home to try and finally conquer GTAIII (a video game). I need to complete one more mission and I just got the tank. The tank is cool.
This morning on my way to work I realized that “Two Boots” is an ingenious name for a Cajun Pizza parlor; the two boots refer to Italy and Louisiana. There is a chain of Two Boots downtown and I knew what the name referred to before. I just thought it very clever today.
When I was little and I came into the warm house after playing out in the snow, my cheeks would instantly turn rose colored. They don’t do that anymore so I’m guessing that it’s only a phenomenon for young cheeks…or else they are protected by my beard!
