More Birthday Goodness

My awesome wife and son got me a Kindle for my birthday and made me cookie dough as a cake substitute. I don't like cake, which is apt, because I also like chopping the heads off of royals.

I had an excellent birthday weekend with the mlw and the boy. My brother and sister-in-law came to visit and treat us to an amazing dinner at Breukelen.

For Lauren's birthday, a group took her our for a fantastic meal at L'Artusi in the West Village. I had the pasta with pancetta, because pancetta is really bacon and bacon is...bacon.
