So my lovely, but selfish, wife has stopped making coffee in the mornings, due to some mysterious nausea. She's also insisting that we spend weekends cleaning up the spare room.

N Cali Vacation - Part 1 of 3 - Coast and Sonoma

For the first few days of vacation, we drove up the coast and then over to Sonoma. We hiked along the way at Muir Woods and an elk reserve at Point Reyes.

On a very hot Sunday, the mlw and I attended a charity polo match on Governor's Island. This is not a common occurrence for us.

One Night at the 5 Burros

On Saturday, it was hot, very hot. With humidity it felt well over 100 degrees. I had been running that morning early in an effort to beat the heat, but it was already 90.
