Thanksgiving in Massachusetts

We join C& J, the kids, and mom in Massachusetts for Thanksgiving. Massachusetts is the original home of Turkey Day. Now it also houses snow, good seafood, and grumpy people.

Jack the Horse Dessert

We celebrated our anniversary where we had our wedding dinner, Jack the
Horse Tavern, the best restaurant in Brooklyn Heights.

Happy Labor Day (Belated)!

The mlw and I had a great stay-cation over the long weekend. On Friday we stopped by the Water Taxi Beach during a stroll through town. We also made it to Governor's Island and Brooklyn Bridge Park.

Brooklyn Kids Can Drink A Donnybrook Ale

Despite my old age, I made it out w/ Mary, Ben, and Nic for Drink Like a Leprechaun Day. Going out in Manhattan for St. Pat's is awful. It's amateur day and the bars are filled with kids.

The Closet is Clean

The mlw and I don't really celebrate Valentine's Day, but as a minor gift I bought a new shelving unit and cleaned out our living room closet.
