The Red Bulls--Great Soccer In Our Backyard

On Saturday, I joined my brother-in-law and father-in-law for a Red Bulls soccer game. It's a ton of fun. You can get to the arena in just 20 minutes on the Path commuter train.

Sunday Polo

On a very hot Sunday, the mlw and I attended a charity polo match on Governor's Island. This is not a common occurrence for us.

Red Bull Air Races

On Saturday, the mlw and I took a ferry to Liberty State Park to see the qualifiers of the Red Bull Air Races. It was a beautiful sunny day and a fun event.

Super Bowl Chilling

For the Super Bowl I boiled 24 Italian sausages in red sauce for 6 hours, making an emulsion of pig fat and tomato essence.

Fahvre

Erik took me to the Jets game last week. We got to see Fahvre, probably not too far from the end of his career, hurl a personal record 6 touchdowns.

I'll chase the Bull

After doing Mt. Washington, anything seems possible. I think the next Guy Weekend should involve bulls and sangria. I'm serious on this.

Germans and the World Cup

Great night last night seeing the Coastal Drag at Niagra. Bad morning seeing the Germans beat USA. I didn't have my camera to document any of it. I am very, very sleepy.

World Cup Fever

I have no pictures to document this, but I caught World Cup fever Saturday. Friday night I stayed at my new place in a sleeping bag on the floor.
