I was able to convince Matt to fly to Atlanta for some Northern Georgia hiking. Our goal was Brasstown Bald. We lucked out with some fantastic weather at the peak of the Fall colors.

Northern Georgia is beautiful and I highly recommend it as an outdoor destination. We did hikes on three separate days, ate roadside bbq, stumbled upon Oktoberfest in a Bavarian village, communed with cows, met a dog, and pissed off a cop--a complete highpoint trip.

This is my 10th highpoint. It's been over 4 years since I last conquered a highpoint! I got a wife and a baby in that period, which occupied some time. But now that I'm back at it, I'm eager to do another. Strap the baby to my back and let's do Clingman's Dome!
