We just got back from the Texas State Fair where this year's star attraction was deep fried butter. Yes. Fried butter. The creator is being tongue in cheek, but it is still remarkable. The line to try such a confection wound through the fair for a hundred yards. We settled on interviewing a man right after he had his first bite. "It's (chew, lip smack) awe (chew) some!" he said.
