Blurry Jerry. One way to get to be Pic of the Day is to buy me dinner. I'm doing a lot of programming both at work and in class and it has begun to creep into my head. Sometimes I have to pause to remember how to say things in English. There are a lot of classic books that pepper in French and Latin phrases because they were once a more standard part of a classic education. I think it is a very pretentious thing to do now unless it is a well known phrase such as oie de vivre" or "coup de grâce", but to haul out a "elle aime comme un canard" is just wrong. It would be like me littering my text with C code. Actually that would probably appeal to a very niche, pale market.
