The High Line

There was an abandoned elevate rail on the west side of Manhattan known as the High Line. In my younger days, I trespassed on it a few times to have a nice vantage while sipping a beer. Since then, the powers that be repurposed the space as a park. It's now a unique slice of NYC. Today's pic is one of my favorite features, a viewing spot that allows strollers to take a rest and look up the avenue. To be able to see more than 100 yards in NYC is normally only available until the red light changes.
