J&J's Wedding Weekend in Philly

A few weeks ago we trained down to Philly for J&J's wedding. It was a lovely informal ceremony (officiated by Mary!) in the house of the Daughters of the American Revolution. The couple put together a very casual, but warm and touching party. And everyone drank a ton in honor of them. For some reason, I didn't get any pictures of the actual bride and groom.

Before the wedding, we made it to the Mutter Museum of Medical Oddities (sadly no photos allowed) and to Pat's Steaks in colorful south Philly. I like being a tourist in other towns.

On a side note, one of the rooms of the house where the wedding was filled with old books. The smell of that room immediately took me back to my house in college. I lived with my great Uncle and he had filled bookshelves on every wall of three floors. The smell in that room last week almost knocked me over with nostalgia.
