Here's a cheesemaking adventure I recommend to all of you: Ricki Carroll's 30 minute mozzarella. It actually took me about an hour, but the result was warm, fresh mozzarella that was awesome. It's my favorite cheese so far, but as the mlw pointed out, it could be because of the instant gratification of making a cheese that can be eaten immediately. I will be making this one for company soon.

The wife came home from a work sponsored massage to a homemade Caprese salad. Our lives are too easy (knock on wood). I fear we will get soft unless we climb some treacherous mountain soon.

I know it's been a lot of cheese and sunsets lately. I'll try and get some bar pictures to mix it up.
