Stumbled upon this photo online the other day. It's the first pic I have seen in a long time that made me laugh loud enough to bring the entire office to my cubicle. A friend remarked, "O my gosh... I think that cat swallowed her little sister!"

I was just listening to a Morcheeba song and I realized the vocals were done by Kurt Wagner of Lamchop. Then I realized esoteric knowledge of indie bands is not worth a cup of coffee.

Zorros. Zorros Forever.

This morning walking on Houston I passed by a Puerto Rican father walking with his young son. Just as I went by the boy said, "So did Zorro ever get OLD?" The father then began an explanation of how, yes, Zorro did get old, but he trained new Zorros, so all was ok. Both the boy and I were satisfied.

So last night I went to a friend of a friend's (Tyler) photo exhibition at the Tribeca Film Center. That's the production company founded by Robert DeNiro as a hobby. The art was good, the free Sam Adams and cheese crackers were better. FYI, the new Sam Adams light is actually very good.

Tribeca is exactly like the rest of New York, industrial and brick, except it is immaculately clean and fitted out with designer light fixtures. The Center had a shelf of books on one wall and four of us conspired to borrow "Internet for Dummies." I wanted it to sit on my desk as a quiet joke and to have it to hand to people who annoy me at work.
